This is a unique opportunity to join an award winning media group and market leader. Due to growth our client has created the new position of Direct Sales Manager to head up a small but growing Direct team.
- Leading a team to drive Direct Sales revenue for the division
- Managing your own client portfolio and continually identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Developing effective strategies to ensure sales pipelines for your team
- Coaching, supporting and mentoring your team to achieve KPIs and increase their knowledge of Digital advertising solutions
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness and sales of the organisation's advertising solutions
- Building a strong rapport with key stakeholders within both medium and large enterprises
- Developing and delivering sophisticated Sales proposals on a regular basis
- Ideally you have 1-2 years Media Sales Management experience
- You will have a minimum of 5 years Direct Sales experience in Media preferably across more than one media and with some exposure to Digital advertising solutions
- You will have a proven track record of creating sales pipelines and effective new business development strategies
- You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be self motivated and a strong leader
- Tertiary qualifications in Media, Advertising, Marketing or similar will be highly regarded.
