Our client is an industry leader who's been established since the 1990s in Australia with few competitors. Their brand is very recognisable and they have a dominant online presence. They have very established IT, Sales and Marketing teams and now have a unique opportunity for an experienced senior Digital Sales person to join their Brisbane team in the newly created role of Digital Business Development Manager.
The primary purpose of the role is to increase sales through both new client acquisition and by increasing revenue streams in building on existing agency partnerships. Your clientele will predominately be Digital Agencies & Media Agencies who provide Display, PPC and CPA solutions to their clients as part of their overall Digital strategy. This is a key role within the business and you will report to senior management.
- Using qualified leads provided to you by internal departments you will identify new business opportunities and work towards increasing the company's brand awareness with prospective agency clients
- You will be required to develop and present sophisticated proposals to key agencies in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to acquire new clients for the business
- You will work closely with the members of the Sales team to continually identify opportunities for increasing revenue streams from their existing clients
- You will build and develop a sales pipeline in line with the business objectives and revenue targets
- You will manage existing clients and work closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure campaigns are optimised
- You will be able to work autonomously to develop an effective sales strategy but also work collaboratively to assist the Digital Marketing and Sales team in identifying areas for monetisation and sales opportunities
- Ideally you have 3 + years experience as a Digital Business Development Manager or senior Digital Media Sales person (Agency Sales)
- You will have at least 2 years experience selling to Digital and Media Agencies with a solid understanding of Digital Display, PPC and CPA campaigns
- You will have exceptional relationship building skills and a knack for building rapport quickly with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- You will have a demonstrated history in composing and presenting sophisticated sales proposals using data analytics
- You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build a sales pipeline and achieve set targets
- You will have a keen interest in Digital Media as a Marketing and Advertising solution, and be happy to be the face of a brand around the agencies
- You will demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field are preferred
- Interstate travel is required in the role but the role is based in Brisbane
