Zinc was founded due to the increasing demand for experienced Digital, Media & Advertising people in Queensland and the ever-apparent candidate shortage. The talent shortage continues to be a major challenge for many Qld organisations which is why Zinc continues to partner with a diverse range of clients ranging from SME’s through to blue chip corporations, in sourcing talent in the Digital, Media and Advertising industries.

- Retainer Based Search (Headhunting)

Contingency Search is a ‘no placement, no fee’ service utilising Zinc’s services.
Retainer Based Search is sometimes referred to as “headhunting”. The retainer is a third (1/3) of the fee upfront, based on the anticipated salary package, a second payment (1/3) is payable on short listing an agreed number of candidates and the final payment (1/3) is payable on placement. The benefit to clients in adopting this service is the guarantee the priority and a set time frame for the delivery of suitable candidates.
In the event that there is a requirement for more than one candidate, a specific skill sets is sought or a client wishes to have a branded recruitment presence, we offer client-paid-advertising in which Zinc manages the advertising response for no charge. We can advise you on a cost effective advertising campaign if needed and then manage the response by shortlisting candidates through a comprehensive assessment.
